My buddy bought a EVO last week and decided that he would prefer his SIG brace to be folding. He bought a Stormwerkz folding adapter and milled off the end of the factory end cap, and then TIG welded the two together. It works great, the tube could be a little lower and it needs some paint but overall it's a success.
I liked the whole thing enough that I bought it off him.

Great idea! I also like it folded for compactness.

Too bad it folds to the left and can't be operated while folded.

I'm pretty happy with it, will hold me over until I can SBR it and the compliance kits hit. |
