I have $110 into the airsoft stock and I really like it. The factory stocks will be even better because they will have more metal parts I believe.

My cost?

$698 gun to my dealer, no transfer fee
$110 airsoft stock
$200 tax stamp
$160 8 x 30 round mags
$0.   Safety delete with dremel

We're talking less than $1200 for a freaking sick SBR with plenty of mags.

Not to sound like a dick, but an airsoft rifle. You just google it and then buy one....

This product's roll-out was so piss poor it boggles the mind.  Their inability to support the product once sold, KNOWING exactly what the demand would be 1) SBR stocks 2) Magazines borders on incompetent.  Seriously.  This gun actually sucks.  Honestly it does.  As a pistol it is absolutely useless. Trigger sucks.  Safety selector sucks.   My SP-01 with 19 rounds will own it all day long in every aspect - considering of course I can't get anything larger than a 20 rd magazine, and no stock to SBR it.

Sure, it has the potential to be awesome.  But that potential should have been realized prior to the product release.  And now I play this game trying to be one of the lucky few fighting the website in hopes of winning the lottery for magazines?  Seriously.  With hopes that we someday get a stock?

They jumped the shark on this one.  And I bought a ticket to the show.

I have the original box and all papers after 2 magazines through it.  PM me.

I was thinking that this is one of the most responsive rollouts I've ever seen, especially since the changes and parts have to come from overseas and are subject to 922r.

Totally agree. CZ released a subgun at a reasonable price, contacted the ATF to inquire about 922r compliance, let the public know about the inquiry and has timely responded to the ATF's letter requiring compliance. CZ's communication with the public has been spot on in every way and I, personally, had no problem buying my Scorp in anticipation of their compliance kit. As for the mags, I can wait (though I have seven 30-rounders on pre-order). This is how a rollout should go and this is how a company should act towards it's customers. In the meantime, if you can't slap a sling on the gun and group it at 50-75 yards, you've got bigger problems. Enjoy it for what it is now and enjoy it for what it will be - the most cost-effective pistol-caliber SBR on the market backed by excelled customer support and parts availability. FUBAR a POF or a Franked-9 AR and see who helps you out...

No it's ok. I tried googling it before I asked and could only find complete rifles for sale. Maybe I need to brush up on my google-fu to find the site with just the stocks for sale

You are overthinking it.  He clearly states( but mispelled) to buy an airsoft rifle.  You will not find the stock by itself.  You can pony up to buy the rifle to get the stock, or wait for CZ to roll out compliant parts, or parts made by other 3rd parties like Manticore.
I really want an Evo, but will wait to see the parts available for it before jumping into this party pool.  I can wait.

Does anyone make a 5/8-24 thread adapter for the Scorpion?  I've contacted both CNC Warrior and DSK Armory and haven't heard back from either.

No ETA or MSRP yet, working out a few details yet but it shoulders nicely and makes the gun VERY compact when fully collapsed with no additional width to the gun. :D

Will they have multiple LOP adjustments or in/out only like HK stocks?  Thank you for making this an option.  If these are available soon and at a reasonable price point, you should have a real winner.  I know I want one.

I am more of a fan of the original. Adjustable and folds. But I think this would take up less volume overall when collapsed? How many positions does it have? Still looks good though. Options are always nice.

Excellent.  Thanks for posting the info and follow up to questions.  One observation I wanted to point out on the prototype: it appears to cover the sling mounts where the handguards are near the ejection port.  I'd be willing to have a half an inch less length when extended if it meant the sling mounts were still functional.  Just an observation; great job regardless.

Having handled one now, I'd still propose a more vertical MOE K2 style grip, it helps significantly with short LOP and long arms.

I have the airsoft stock already and didn't see any room for improvement.

Until I saw this.

Hehe.

I will also buy one so I can have both if it doesn't cost too much.

$120-$150 range I could do.

$200-$300 range is probably too much since I already have the airsoft. (Thinking of the NEA style stocks).

I got one on Friday.  They were supposed to be here today.  Now my tracking info says not til Thursday.  Pretty sad I'm less than an hour away, yet it will be over a week before I get my mags.  Call me impatient, I just don't see how it takes this long to get something 50 miles up the road.

Based on another member's comment and the speed, it sounds like they're using Surepost (common carrier but final delivery by USPS) which is incredibly slow and adds 1-2days.

As for the Manticore stock... I love the MP5'esque stock option since I see th scorpion as a modern MP5. It looks good for a prototype, curious how it'll function while collapsed. I still prefer the OE stock esp when it sounds like it'll be in the $100 ballpark vs $150-200.

Do you legitimately prefer the factory stock, or would you rather there be less 922r parts available so you can continue to troll the other members here?

Serious question.

More importantly (IMO) is how is the cheek weld?  Lots of those stem style stocks are great for size/weight savings but in use they leave much to be desired.  I like the idea though.  Way to think outside of the box.  If the price comes in under the CZ version I think you will have a hit on your hands.  If it comes in around the same price or higher I think you'll see limited sales.  The CZ side folder doesn't add much width and offers a solid lock-up with a great cheek weld.  This reminds me of underfolders & MP5's that look great on paper but in use they leave much to be desired.
