if you look at an AR 15 the top of the grip is below the top of the trigger. In that photo it looks about the same maybe 1/16" difference. In the height.

Filing out my form 1. Did you guys use 9 or 9mm under caliber? I remember reading somewhere one of those was getting denied?

After almost 2 years and close to 6,000 rounds through my EVO sbr I think I am getting bored of it.
Kidding I still love the pants off this gun and shoot it every week most used firearm in my collection. |

pictures have been inspiring. Great thread. Hopefully ~60 more days for my form 1 to come through. Thinking about sticking on a 12MOA RM08 optic I have lying around. Decent idea? I can also go with H1 but might put that on another AR. I have an Omega 9k waiting on its stamp so will put on a different muzzle device.
What is the short on what I need to be in ATF compliance (full 922 kit or can I piece it together some other way). The Manticore stock looks nice. I already have 30 round mags. |
|
|
12MOA sounds like a lot.. I was thinking a 3.4MOA or whatever RM06 for mine.

Never seen one in person but, it might be better than nothing to start out with. I would not go out an buy one but, if I had it laying around... what the heck; try it. |

Anyone know where to find a stock and 922r kit? I got my form 1 back, but I cannot find a kit anywhere...

I have a 6 moa compact acog on my AR.. I like it a lot and consider it the smallest dot I would use.. I mostly use this setup for competitions within 50m but had no problem hitting a man size target at 200m. The 12 moa doesnt sound that bad for a EVO and the kind of use it will see. |

Stupid question but can I have a charging handle on both sides? I tried searching but got no results.

For SBR owners - Is there a 922r compliance form that has to be filled out / sent in with Form 1's? I did my AR a little over 2 years ago and I swear they came back to me and made me send this in to get the final approval, and now I can't find anything online for 922r compliance.

I'm not positive - I recall getting a letter about 90% of the way through the waiting process (filed by mail as individual) and I thought that's what I had to sign off on. I don't think I kept a copy of it, but as soon as I sent it back, I got my approval. My AR is built on a Noveske lower, so it's not something foreign or anything.
As for not giving them ideas - roger that! I had no intention of calling or writing them - just asking you guys! Thanks for the info... |

So you think you had to send 922r info to the BATF for your US made rifle.
You do know 922r has to do with imported weapons only right. Originally Posted By gotfish:

As I mentioned earlier, I'm not positive about what I had to send in 2 years ago. I was just curious if there had been an ATF form of some sort for this. I'm about to send in a Form1 on my new Scorpion and figured I'd include it in the envelope just in case. |

Now to go home and throw the stock on it and rip a few mags thru it. |

Still on the fence for a Scorpion.
How would a MK9K look mounted on a Scorpion? Maybe a Bowers. |
