I like the CZ custom adapters but don't want stainless. I have a M13.5X1 LH piston for my p226 already and didn't realize that size was available in the adapters as well. I might get that one. I looked on http://www.trosusa.com/Adapters/Adapters.htm and didn't see the 18X1 RH thread pitch for the inside thread. Which one did you buy for a three lug adapter for your scorpion? |

Holding the Scorpion on my work bench, I was able to get the first few turns of the nut using a 20mm open end wrench - I then held it between my legs for the rest of the removal (still using the wrench for most of it). Removing the weld on the trigger pack was easy with a dremel tool and a carbide cutting bit. Once it was out, I put in the CZ Custom Trigger Pack. It is an amazing upgrade - not cheap, but it does get you 3 of the needed 922R parts. Good luck, Bob S. |

So in regards to the mag issue this gun is having. I have 7 mags total now. 5(30) and 2(20) my idea is to simply leave them loaded and if they crack, I'll contact CZ and get new mags before. I'd rather "weed out" any defects sooner rather than later. Good idea, bad idea? If there are any defects after how long should I see the mags cracking?

Regarding barrel rethread:
I have a local smith that can turn my barrel with the mounting block still in place, apparently. He says ideally it would be best to remove the barrel but after seeing everyone's troubles I think I'd rather he turn it down with it on. So, I gather everyone is just keeping the full barrel length and having a half inch of the 18x1 threads turned down to 1/2-28, and leaving the rest of the 18x1 in place behind it with no crown work necessary. Is that right? If no, can someone clarify what exactly I need done? Thanks |
|

Had mine turned down with the trunion in place. Use the suppressor spec for threads. 1/2 x 28 x 0.4 inches long. Had mine recrowned also while in the lathe. Piece of cake...

Give them time I think prices will settle down on them. All in good time be patience you should be able get one at fair market value. Cz has seen the usa demand. I think they are geared up for more now than when first introducing the scorpion. So what n see is my suggestion or join the panick buying starting u to each there own. |

I snagged a 2016 model off of GB yesterday for $750.
Funny that Prepper is asking $800 for their 2016's- they usually have the best prices. I guess maybe they're banking on dudes responding to the stock alert without doing research. Now somebody needs to come up with a thin, knurled ring to cover up those M18x1 threads. I'll be using a 3 lug adapter ahead of them on mine. |
