Have a chance to get a CX4 or a century Uzi. Which one? This will be a range toy. Only thing is I have a 9mm suppressor and will want to use it on either. Which one for a host. Positives and negatives for each.

Sorry if this was covered before.

I have 2 Storms 9mm & .45 sooooo....

I say this without getting into the legalities of threading the barrel.

Someone more long winded than I will be along soon enough.

I know that a CX4 would have to be made 922 compliant.

I say UZI, lots of accessories, fun to shoot, cheap mags, and will hold its value.

Uzi vote as well.

It may be old but it is a cool design and you know you want one.

Uzi. I'm looking at SBRing one for the same thing. A 9mm toy with silencer.
Or a MP5 and a divorce (I'll need one if I buy a MP5)

I would say the CX4, because I think its probably worth a bit more.  I bought a new Century UZI a few months ago and it was around $550.

As far as historical firearms go, the UZI is a much better choice though.

Going with the Uzi. Wanted one for a long time. And in true AR15.com fashion, I will get a CX4 also. Just have to work another couple shifts of OT.

Having shot both, the uzi is more fun.

I own both and the Beretta is much easier and more comfortable to shoot.  If you are thinking of running a silencer then go with the Uzi.  I got my Uzi chopped (SBR) and run a Mossad II on it.

I would love to suppress my Beretta but concerns of meeting 922r keep me from making a SBR out of it with threads for my soon to arrive Evo.

I had a Styer SPP, I didn't like it at all so I sold it. And the SPP is basically a modern Uzi. I've then got a Cx4 and I absolutely love it, much more fun to shoot and in my opinion even a good home defense weapon.

Stockless pistol vs a carbine? How is that even comparable?

I had a full auto UZI for awhile and it was an excellent gun. The only downside was it was heavy if you were shooting a lot or carrying it. The only reason I sold it was I ran out of places to shoot it. None of the ranges allowed full auto and I had no access to any land to go shoot.

I have a CX4 now and it's fun to shoot. I put a Trijicon RX30 on top of it and I plan on shooting it in some of the local matches.

How does the RX30 work on it?  I just(an hour ago) got a deal on a CX4 and have an Trijicon RX34 I'm not using...

I say Uzi. Fun to shoot, interesting history, and they just look cool.

Last year I picked up a Masterpiece Arms Mac 10 Carbine in 9mm and (legally) put a suprressor on it. I've had a ton of fun with it.
I got a few thousand rounds through it. The guns a brick. It just eats whatever I feed it.

But I really want an authentic Uzi and then I want to SBR it. Seen some people do some pretty cool things with the ole' Uzi.

an IMI uzi may hold its value but a century uzi will not.  The storm is blowback I do not know how that reacts to a can.

If you aren't going to SBR it: CX4.

If you are going down the SBR road: Uzi. But strongly suggest trying to get a used Vector instead of a Century, if possible.
