So I went into my LGS on Saturday to check out the used guns. They usually have decent prices on the used inventory. On the wall, I see a used UZI by Vector Arms with three 25 round mags. I've been considering the Vector UZI for awhile and I ask to see it. Nice shape, well cared for. Then I look at the price: $1100!

The usual internet dealers have them new for $825 to $900 depending on number of mags. I understand that they need to make a profit and if the $1100 was for a new gun, I probably would have bought it.

If the trigger wasn't so horrible, I would have showed the owner, who probably paid $600 for it, a few web sites to get the price down. Or could there have been something to make this Vector more desirable than the current production Vectors?

Hmm, it could be a consigment gun. That would explain the high cost.

What got me was the HORRIBLE trigger. I've own two IMI full size UZIs and one IMI UZI pistol and I don't remember the triggers being that bad. 12 pound pull and a very long reset.
