FYI. The kpos pathfinder's tube is too small to fit a sig brace. I suppose you could wrap it with tape. But I'm not going to bother with it

Hey Bassman, I have a Kpos coming in and bought some heatshrink tubing (1.5 diameter shrink to 3/4) The Zahal seller on Amazon measured the tube at .98 without the foam cover. If it works I can send ya some, I have 4 feet of it. It can even be doubled up if 1 sleeve is not enough.

sig brace doesn't work on the KPOS.

I stand corrected... the brace will slip over the foam on the KPOS!  Range trip last week!! I had one hiccup with an ejection problem...not too bad.

Please post some porn with the SIG brace on!

Using a G34. It will leave 2 little wear marks on the front of the slide where the charging handle pulls against. Also, the charging handle will not lock when using a silencer. Range test tomorrow.

I wonder how well this will work with a g19?

Well that is pretty darn sweet.

Thanks for the pics.

Have you done any modification to make it work?
If so what have you done?!?

No mods, just had to rotate the device attached to the charging handle to make up for the longer slide of the G34. Zero issues with 200 rounds today. Shot using GDHP 147gr factory ammo and my 147gr reloads.

LOP is almost exactly 16 inches of freedom. This is more fun than my 9mm 5.5 glock AR.

How does the back end (folding mechanism, tube, etc..) attach to the back of the chassis? If you removed that assembly from the chassis, could something else be attached easily?

I may rather add a simple (shorter) folding assembly and sig brace. I have gotten so uses to a shorter length of pull, that 16" seems too long now. I have long gorilla arms, but still like a nice compact LOP.

Thank you.

So I just buy a Sig Brace and it will fit the pathfinder cause it seems you added foam or something?

BTW it looks awsome!

If you trim the brace you can shorten it even more, with the given folding mechanism I would think it is the only way. Here are more pics.

The distance from the end of the sig brace to the Kpos body itself is 9.5 inches.

The buffer tube is covered with the foam you see from the factory. It is a tight fit and when you completely install it some of it bunches up towards the front.

I'm going to put this gen 2 brace when it comes out. Looks better on this KPOS than the original brace.

2 questions.

First, if I get one and SBR my G17, can I put a regular buffer tube and Magpul stock on it?

Second, has anyone tried a G17 with a Tirant9?

Just wanted to share something I did to make my KPOS feel a little safer...

I took a raven vanguard 2, removed the belt loop, added a piece of paracord, and attached the cord to the bolt on my front hand stop.

Instant safety.

One tug on the paracord and the vanguard 2 comes right off... but if in the middle of the mag I want to hand off or set down...on goes the vanguard2.

will an osprey fit on this with the flash hider portion removed? Also does ZFI ship both backplates with the kit now standard or do you need to ask for it?
