Nice! Someone told me the Osprey wasn't designed for carbine use, but I thought that was weird given that they make spacers for it. Obviously it's designed to mimic the shape of a pistol slide and maintain a stock sight picture, but who says that takes away from versatility, right?

the overall odd appearance of the rifle, along with the unusual suppressor design make for quite a strange looking weapon. I think sound reduction will be marginal due to the upper having ejection ports on each side. Its my weapon, yet I would not disagree with anyone who thinks it is ugly. This being said, its damn light and can fit in a 17 inch computer bag.

Please post a video of the range trip if possible. I have a Oly 45 upper and want to see what kind of sound reduction you get. I have an Osprey also.

This worked out way better than expected. The sound you hear after me firing is the shell hitting the table.

Nice, thank you for the review. This is good news, I am looking to suppress mine as well. Mine is in 9X19 but I will be looking at getting a 45 conversion kit. Currently, I am waiting on getting my sbr paperwork but the suppressor is next in line.

If you get the aero in 45, you can buy the conversion parts from TNW to make it 9mm for about 340 IIRC.

It looks good and it feels good to shoot, but it is a pain in the butt to clean. It has 2 allen screws that hold the upper to the lower, and you need to remove the stock with a castle wrench to remove the bolt. From other posts it looks like TNW Aero is easier to field strip. I am thinking about getting a TNW too. |

Very easy, shipped barrel from PO for about 7 bucks and paid $60 total to have it threaded and sent back by one of our own.
