THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I've been itching to get one in 9mm with the Beretta mags for over a year and have never seen one available for sale |

Kel tec makes everything in batches. A whole slew of them hit the market back in late winter. So maybe they will come up for another run soon.

IIRC, CDNN recently had 'em back in stock. No idea if they still do or not.

It's been a while since I've seen Kel-Tec's bigger guns at gun shows in Houston and Dallas. I would guess it was sometime in the late winter when dealers last had multiple offerings.
There is always a large selection of P-3AT, PF9, and P32. The Sub-2000, PLR-16, PLR-22, SU-16 have disappeared. And I've still NEVER seen a PMR-30 or the .308 rifle they make. |

I have looked high and low for one for the 92 Beretta mags. Couldn't find a single one. Did find one or two that took Glock mags but the shops had marked them up $50 or more over suggested retail. Kel-Tec is great at designing new products, not so good at producing volume of what they already have completed. Odd, our economy is in bad shape, many skilled workers out of a job yet there are so many things like this that you can not buy. Try and figure that out. |

I think that they (Kel Tec) are gearing up to make their vaporware KSG a reality. They are concentrating so much on the KSG that they have no time for any of their other guns. I wanted a Sub 2000 earlier this year, but was unable to find one. So instead I bought a Vector Uzi. |

I was looking for a Sub2000 last week. I found them in stock at buds and impact guns. 30 minutes later, when I decided to buy one, they were both sold out. The moral of the story? If you really want one you can't stop looking, and you better buy it as soon as you find it. |

The Kel-Tek Sub2000s are on the shelf right next to the AK-5 parts kits.

They are almost impossible to find at MSRP. The times I've seen them for sale lately, they are usually marked up at least $100 over MSRP. After years of searching, I finally found used for a decent price. It's an extremely fun, and accurate range toy, well worth the wait!

Yep, they have it...and with shipping and fees it would be $425. Not worth that much...its a $300 gun. But thanks for letting me know. |

Believe me, I would like to see them come out with it soon too, but it isn't in the cards. They probably have one or two making the rounds at the gun magazines, but as for a real live gun you can actually buy, nope! |

I finally found a used one after calling dozens of people. Had a chance to shoot it this weekend and I'm more than pleased. It will serve it's purpose well.

I bought one ages ago new for $235 and it seemed overpriced. Although I wish I had kept it. The front sight was such an abomination against every gun manufactured since the advent of brass cartridges, I traded it in for more credit than I paid for it.

I wish they could build a simple similar gun that doesnt fold and has a pic rail on top.
Oh, and deliver them |

I am not sure what is going on at KT. Seems the only thing available is the accursed P11.
KT only sells to distributers. Best bet is to have your local dealer contact KT and get their distributer list and have them hook up with every distributer. pimp himself to everyone on this list. I used to have it somewhere but I think I archived it on another computer. and hope for the best. |

There are plenty of fixed PCCs out there, in a wide variety of price ranges. The abilty to fold, stow in a very tight space, and deploy in seconds is IMHO what is unique and appealing about the KT SUBs –– they fill a niche all to themselves in terms of "stowability/portability." JMHO, YMMV. |

Well, assuming jadgkommando doesn't wear it out before then "testing it" at his range. |

Yep, aware of those –– I personally don't consider three pre-production models making the limited rounds as "out." But I'm prepared to wait and still plan to own at least two of the buggers when they are "out." |

I agree that it isn't "production" level at all, and I honestly think it will be 18 months befeore we see them in any reasoable numbers. |
