Semi auto makes the design point kinda useless, unless you want a cool looking carbine and don't mind spending a crazy amount of money on it. |

I just paid for a factory SBR today.
Lurked around wanting one for quite some time and finally did it. They are hard to find for MSRP but a company in Indiana has them in stock. 21st Century Firearms. The guy I buy my suppressors from, Bryon Gaston/Major Malfunction, has a full auto version and seems to like it which pushed me over the edge. The gun is pricey but this hobby is still cheaper than a girlfriend. Especially since I'm married. |

Go for it. They are badass looking and there is nothing wrong with buying guns simply because they are cool.

Neat gun. Was thinking about one as well. I think I decided against it due to Glock only making 13 round mags. I am not sure about their custom, higher-capacity versions or who makes them.

Magpul made their 17 round extensions taking the capacity up to 30.
I have 4 of the kits and took them out last week to make sure they ran before buying the gun. No problems whatsoever. Shooting 120 rounds of 45 rapidly quickly told me my trigger finger needs some more stamina. |

Do they sell factory direct? Would be a lot quicker than buying out of state since they are located at Virginia Beach.

No pic as of yet, should get it in to my 07/02 in December and I will have one then.
I called the company and they want all sales to go through their dealer network. |

I bought them when the guns first hit the market and they have sit in a box until recently.
One of the rare occasions when I actually picked up something at the right time and a good price. |

If you've got the funds, get one while you can. I bought one of the first ones (non-SBR) on the market. No complaints as long as you follow the rules. Seems to me that everyone that disses it, has never shot or handled one. I think they are pretty cool. SBR version reminds me of the Wierden modules from DUNE. (Too bad, we couldn't just use our voice for ammo like they do.) Ammo specific...it's listed in the manual what is compatible. Fortunately WWB 45 is good to go! Blaser 45 not so good :( ! I bought mine when WWB was pretty available. Extensions are good to go. You can buy direct from TDI-ARMs (or maybe you have to be a registered user/owner? can't remember) the 17 round extensions. They are pretty solid. I've got 6 of them. If you don't already have 13 rd mags (1st or 2nd gen mags, the Kriss utilizes 1st gen mags(e.g. cheap LE only mags if you can still find them))it costs about the same to but the complete set. And yes, the extended mag works and fits well with my Glock 21. Don't use it too much, though, due to constraints with ammo supply. Good luck!

Personally, if I had the money to get a Kriss - I wouldn't. I'd get a different PCC.

Guns are like women: There is no logical reason why one in particular catches your eye.
