I am considering getting a '92 in .357 Magnum. It will be used mainly for target shooting and hunting game up to deer size at up to 125 yards.
The Rossi is the least expensive. The Chiappa almost twice as much and the Miroku more than twice as much. I understand that fit and finish is in line with cost from what I've read.
Most buy these for CAS, which doesn't require any real intrinsic accuracy.
I'd like to here from people with each of these maker's rifles in RIFLE configuration about their accuracy with 150-180 grain cast bullets. Any barrel length and any barrel configuration (round, octagon, or half/half) as long as it has the rifle style forend attachment and magazine support "bearing".
I can always slick up a Rossi if it cycles a little rough, But for me, if the Chiappa or Miroku is decidedly more accurate, it would justify the expenditure.
