I'm guessing the price will be about 860.00

Of course I want one in .270

That looks good but they would have to get the price a good bit below the price of a Browning for me to get too excited about it. Still a darn good looking rifle and I'm sure they will sell.

At that price I might rather buy the much more proven Browning BLR. Does the Henry do anything truly new or innovative that the BLR doesn't?

This . I am glad to see them building new products

If the .223 was STANAG magazine compatible this would make a nice ban state rifle.

If it does not have iron sights, I am not interested. A rifle without sights is 2/3 rds a rifle.

I can't believe they didn't put iron sights on it.

Oh. Where's the BLR made? Is that one of the Japanese rifles? I don't mind paying a small premium for an American product as compared to an overseas product.

Geez,  I didn't even notice, I dislike it when they do this.

Lets hope it will be an option soon..

Given the intention of the design, it doesn't really need iron sights. It's no different than a bolt action coming without them.

No sights?!

A .308 and .223 would be cool but I want irons on the gun.

An accupoint 1-6 would be pretty cool

I have a Browning BLR in .308 and this new rifle interests me.

Miroku of Japan makes them. Great products.... I like mine. But an American made rifle peaks my interest.

I'd be tempted to fo on a .223 or .308, would be real handy for predator control at my house...

Keeps the weight down since they know you'll be mounting a scope. Smart.

My BLR is aluminum. No issue there.

It looks like the barrel might be able to be swapped out by any gunsmith, unlike the BLR.  I'd like one in 338 Federal flavor!

I had a thread about this rifle a few weeks ago. There was a lot of hate for it. I still think it's a cool rifle and will most likely pick one up. When I do it will be in .308, just because it's different and .308 is awesome.
