FO or no? Marlin 1985 - Page 1

Need a quick opinion. I found an older JM marked guide gun. It's the blued version and in solid used shape with mild finish wear and a couple dings in the wood. Bottom dollar price is $475. I was holding out for stainless, but that's the best price I've seen. Thoughts?

I would buy that in a heartbeat....!

I had the barrel on my 22" 1895 cut down to Guide Gun length (18.5"), makes it very handy to pack around:

ETA:

I have since removed the 3x9 scope went back to iron sights. Eventually I would like to add an XS Lever Rail to it with a short 2x7 scope along with back up rear sight.

I'll take a nicer pic outside and not on basement carpet once I swap out the stock. It's a 18.5" with all the stuff your talking about.
