I was given this rifle from a family member in the better halfs side. I know next to nothing about levers, and figured I would get it out and take some pictures. I have never fired the rifle. It looks to be in amazing shape for the age, and looks to be hardly fired at all. It does have some rust on the butt plate, and the wood looks like it soaked up a little water on the base.
The original front site was removed and replaced with a blank, or filed down! It has a peep site installed on the receiver. SN on the gun is: 1464659 Its a 30 WCF. What have i got??

Winchester has no records between the years 1943 and 47. Year 1948 started with 1500000. Yours was probably made in 46 or 47.

I have several Winchester 94 's and if you are super interested in knowing what year it is it should be stamped on the bottom of the barrel underneath the forearm. All mine are stamped for example it will say 48 30 WCF Year then the caliber. Mine are stamped. 48 32 WS Means 1948 32 Winchester Special. Good luck.
