Priced too high I think.  Serial number indicates a 1950 manufacture and marked 30 WCF. Not much bluing left, instead a nice brownish patina remains. Wood looks well used and forearm either has a deep scratch or crack the whole length. Wish I had taken a picture.

Doesn't look any worse than most pre 64s I see at gun shows.  Don't know about other areas but pre 64s in my area are few and far between even at gun shows and require big money to take one home. This is the first one I have ever seen in a pawn shop. Price $600 plus tax.  My main problem I bought 1960 last year in near new condition for $600 so most others I find don't compare and are priced a lot more.

around 400-450.. depending on the rest of its condition. I don't mind a rifle with patina .. as long as its not abused / neglected.
