Alright guys, my lever gun's stock needs an 1892 buttplate and was wondering if there was one that had some sort of texture to it vs smooth.

Homestead gun parts has carbine buttplates...they are smooth steel.

I've been searching forever without luck and they appear to be the cheapest so I just went with them. Thanks

The flat shotgun style butt plates are checkered.
