First guy nails it.

Don't over think it , shoot it and have some fun.

Depending on how you end up using it and the age of your eyes you might enjoy swapping over to aperture sights . I prefer the regular old school Lyman micrometer . Medium aperture for general use but the sight itself with the aperture unscrewed (old school hunters trick ) makes a decent ghost ring type for hunting in lower light levels .

Now if you go to some of the cowboy action sites they will have a lot to say about the Winchesters . They can be informative but just remember they have developed their games to a high level and can be real picky about their firearms .

If you don't reload consider starting , 38/357 is a great place to start .

A 38/357 lever can cover lots of ground , enjoy
