Found it today and couldn't resist.  May have got burned but I'm pretty happy with it. I'm no expert but I think it's in pretty good condition. I was looking for something in .357 mag but all I found were in the $500 to $600 range even used.  Putting $500 in a hit or miss Rossi  or $700+ in a Henry I felt better putting money in this one. I'll refrain from telling what i paid until I feel like the price wasn't too bad.

As you can see from the last picture I found a hairline crack under the but plate.  I think I can fix it pretty easily but any ideas are welcome.

Nice!  I'm a 1960 model myself and would have snapped that up in a heartbeat.

Nice
If it were mine I would get a Lyman peep sight for it. Two small plugged holes on the left side of the receiver is how it mounts

These guns were nothing special in their day but they are a joy to shoot and we of course don't make them here in CT any more.

It seems to me the values in the Blue Book are lower than what we are seeing them going for

Very nice rifle. My 1960 M94 is my favorite rifle.
