How do I disassemble a Marlin 336? I need to remove the bolt and disassemble the bolt for cleaning.

Put the lever down, set on ejection port side up. Remove charging handle screw. Remove charging handle straight down (might have to move charging handle forward and backward a little until it slips down). Remove bolt. Remove ejector (once you remove the bolt you will see the ejector on the left of the receiver (inside). The bolt keeps the ejector in place, so don't tilt the receiver. That is as far as you need to go. Reverse steps to install parts.
