THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Post links to "Interesting and Useful" threads in the Lever Action Rifles Forum here. This allows anyone to in effect tack any thread they want to the top of the forum.

"Rules" - -

Include all the links you want to add in your original post. If you add a post, that’s okay, too, but it strings the information out.

- Don't include duplicate links, or at least make an attempt to avoid duplicates. That means you ought to read this thread before adding a link.

- A short one line clarification of the information in the link is okay. Don't write a book.

- Use the thread title in the link with the following format ("quote" this post to see the formatting if you don't know how to set it up). This helps everyone remember the original thread. Add the thread author if you want. See the first post in the thread for an example:

A few (more) useful links - Paul_LC

- Try to keep it to truly useful information. Links to time sensitive information such as "where can I buy" do not qualify. Use good judgement.

- Links to other forums are okay. Identify the linked forum. Don't violate the CoC. Duh.

The point is to make useful information that has already been posted easily accessible. I can mark these threads to keep them out of the archive, but I'm not going to mark every thread that comes along. You can even start a thread, then link it here. Send an IM to me if you add a link here so I can set its archive status as I may not see it posted here. Often times I will add a comment in the thread to say I set the status, but you won’t be able to see the thread marker.
