It feels better than the action on my 1950-51 Winchester 94.

I've been wanting to pick one up, I'm glad to see one in the hands of an owner finally.

1893 Marlin .30-30. My wife picked it up for $125 in a bargain barrel at a gun shop. I just finally found an original buttstock for it (it had an ill-fitting 336 stock on it) and I will post more photos once it is installed.

Winchester 1886 Ultra Light .45-70 (Japanchester). Tang safety, hammer, and trigger parts removed and replaced with Browning 1886 hammer and one-piece trigger for traditional half-cock safety and non-rebounding hammer.

Providence Tool Company Type 21 sight
installed.

It desperately needs a stock refinish, since the factory finish is too plastic-looking and turns white and ugly when dinged.

More photos of the 1886 here: https://762precision.wordpress.com/product-reviews/providence-tool-company-pattern-21-sight/

Here is an old one, been in my family since back in '12:

This was a Rossi Model 92 on which we had engraved the stock for a customer. As I was about to assemble it, my new dog climbed up, pulled the buttstock down, and started chewing on it.

We quickly purchahsed a new rifle for the customer and re-engraved the artwork on the new rifle. My 8-year-old saw the rifle with the chewed stock and fell in love with it, so I gave it to him. He wanted the whole rifle to look old, he and I removed the engraving from the stock and went to work on it.

So the result is that the customer got the engraved rifle he wanted, my boy got a rifle he loves and can be proud of, and I have a dog that is free to a good home. She is friendly, good with children, and loves guns.

It is an 1876 Northwest Mounted Police Carbine. It is a repro from Chaparral. That was for a contractor who was attached to that unit. He wanted something a little different from the Rossis. Caliber is .45-75

I have one as well, but did some work to it.

Picked this up this past week.

Super smooth and accurate out of the box. Well made and is a bit heavy for .22lr but not overly so.

MARLIN 1895GS STAINLESS JM 45/70 FACTORY PORTED (made in 2001)

Kevlar fitted stock and black Cerakoted.  Just honed the scope rings and mounted the PigPlex.  Fiddling with the hammer under there is something I'll get used to.  Have been using a Sako Finnlight 243 Stainless Composite (I like to not worry so much about weather), also with a PigPlex on pig (of course), but now shot placement won't be so important!

Wild West trigger, ejector, big loop.  Zero this weekend with LeverRevolutions...

MPI Stocks did the work (Doc).   Very nicely done, but don't be in a hurry.

He had it Cerakoted too.

Since sending the Marlin to them for the work, I've set myself up to Cerakote some personal AR builds.  I love this stuff.
