I crossed one off my wish list a couple of weeks ago, found it in a small town Arkansas pawn shop.

Marlin 30GT

My Winchester '94 Centennial, got it unfired and promptly broke it in. Shoots great and is VERY accurate. I swapped out the factory leaf/blade sights for a set of solid brass peeps from Skinner - very classy.

found a laminate stock over on another forum, ordered a MinuteMan Gear forearm cuff.
Running a Skinner Lo-Pro right now. Did have a TRS25 on it, but it didn't look right if that makes sense

You guys who saw my previous thread already know what this is.
For the guys who haven't, Its an all original Winchester Model 1894 Fancy Sporting Rifle in .38-55 Most noteably it was speciali ordered with 3X wood and the uber rare case hardened receiver. Madis dates it as a first year manufacture but polishing room records have it in 1895 I believe.

My one and only lever gun. It is a Marlin 30TK that was made in 1989. For those of you that are not familiar with this model, the "T" indicates that it is a Texan model (18 1/2" barrel) and the "K" indicates that it was made in a special run for K-Mart. This model features the 3/4 length tube. This makes for a really sweet handling brush gun.

Marlin 336 30-30 circa 1975 nicely used and picked up for cheap today...............................

Edit: Had wrong date, got it straight though, not so bad for a 37 yr old Marlin for $230.......

Someone asked, so BUMP!

Besides, can't let this die

The 94 has been in my family since 1932.

Once my employment situation improves, I'll be purchasing a Marlin 336Y for a woods gun. I see a Wild West Co-Pilot in my distant future but that's a ways out.

This thread really does need a Tack to the top of the lever action forum.

I wish i had a lever action to post pictures of. This thread is making me want to burn a hole in my wallet

Yessir, this thread really should be tacked so it can't get "lost" again. Does anyone know who the moderator is for this subforum? Maybe we can PM them and request that it gets tacked?

I'm temped to "report" my own post to send them a message because that goes directly to the moderator, but I'm also afraid that might piss them off.

Some absolutely stunning rifles in here!

I need to take some pictures. The only lever I have right now is a Marlin 1894C that I inherited from my grandfather. Amazingly accurate and fun to shoot.

I have actually been thinking of getting a Marlin 336 Youth and refinishing the stock and doing some other work to it. It is an almost perfectly sized little carbine.

I agree 100%, and my mother wants one for her next birthday. Maybe she'll let me play with it if I get it for her.

Is that 454 a new production Braztech gun, or an older LSI Puma?
