Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Amsec factory installed lock options?

TSG, Question if I may.  I am going to order a new Amsec safe.  I really want a mechanical lock.  Can I order, factory installed, an S&G 8500 or 8400 group 1 lock?  Is one more secure than the other?  Is one more relialable than the other?  What are the advantages of one over the other?  Thanks,  Jim
