Going through the gun safe thread, I don't really see anybody with suppressors in them. Do you store them separately in another safe? Or just leave them attached to the guns?

Getting a safe ordered now, but I'm wondering if I need the 6' tall version just to have enough room for suppressors and a top shelf.

I have them in the safe, in their factory boxes, all one one shelf, with the exception of my MP5-SD suppressor. It lives on its host gun.

Yeah.  One on a rifle in the closet, two lolling about in the safe.  A 4th on the way.

All over. There's one on top of a picture frame in the living room that I'm still not sure how it got there but it's out of the way and can stay where it's at.

I keep mine in their "pouches" stuffed in whatever free corner of the safe I can find.

I'm currently thinking of how to reorganize my safe, and am wondering the same thing.

Up til now I've just sat them on a shelf.  I'm looking for some decent hooks (like coat hangers but not as home decor oriented) to screw to the door or interior wall that I can lay the suppressors on. Haven't found what I'm looking for just yet.  If I remember I'll post a pic when I get around to it.

Don't keep them on the guns long term. Local sot posted pictures of a rifle they got in. The can had been left on, as in never taken of. They had to beat the can off it was rusted on there so badly.

Of course it goes with out saying the can was left on there after shooting so the temps swing and humidity caused the rust
