There's a lot of discussion about the Costco lorex systems but I can't figure out which one, if any, they still sell.
Is there someone else that sells that system?

I really only need 4 cameras to start.

I guess Lorex is better than the rest of the costco systems, but I was glad when lightening hit mine and killed it. Forget their support, I sent off a camera for replacement under warranty and never got it back, not even an f-u letter.

Is there a 4 camera system that you would recommend or is it better to piece it together?

I just installed a 16 ch veilux last week, pretty good so far. I put in an RS 16 channel specotech last year that I'm running at work, works pretty good as well. I watch it at night off my iphone, will do the same with the veilux next week. I'd look around at the eight channel versions of those dvr's.

Some guys like the CNB mona lisa as well, but I didn't like the bullet version. Might be better with the dome version.
