THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I had asked about a previous system that I was told sucked. This one is also from QSee but the cameras are upgraded and the DVR has more storage.

Does it suck or not for a starter system?

For the money, this is still my favorite camera.

I got a quote for this DVR this morning that was recommended to me, doesn't look too different from I already have, but I'm still researching.

I'm actually using this one, it's not bad.

I have used Speco in the past, and was happy with the systems. Firebird are you planning on doing the install yourself?

Yes. Being that the cost of these systems can be high (buying better equipment) I realize that I need to buy it a piece at a time. I may have the cables pulled in the attic when I have the electricians back for more work this year but I will be doing everything else.
