Love this thread and its amazing the number of years its been going.  I'm in awe of so many of your rooms!  Thought it was time to share my small room. ps.. I will quadruple the size the next time I build.

These are the pictures of my inside my gun vault.  Not going to post specs of the vault door, block, electrical etc.
. I will say that I would hire someone to install the vault door the next time. Damn things are just too f'ing heavy or my friends and are just getting too old.

The room continues to be a work in progress.

Couple notes
The safe inside the vault room just holds ammo.
The work benches are Harbor freight. Love them
Everything else is Gallowtech.  I've been buying chunks of it at a time over the past 18 months.
I Still need to build the doors for my hunting clothes

Very nice setup, thats the size I have in mind for my dream gun room. Basically an over sizes walk in closet kind of thing. The gun rooms with TVs and bars are neat but over kill.

Would you share the length and width?  We are working in house plans with an architect and I’m trying to settle on a size.

Looks great!!

I regularly worked on a lady's cars in Montana. She had a barn full of AMGs and other various Renntech modded cars and trucks.  Spent one afternoon at her house chasing a battery issue on a G55 only when parked in one particular spot.  Walked from the garage, through the tanning salon, through the shooting lounge and range (in the house!) to the bathroom. I would have loved to see the gun room, she was in the "unlimited money" kind of place.

Sadly, the house (and everything involved) went to auction and sold after her passing. $4.5 million for the property, I was saving my pennies

Wish I had any real pictures, these are just from the listing. Leather lounge chairs, huge wood tables, and a bench that must have run 50'. It was impressive.

But the locker is just some cheapo thing off Amazon. No kids so a large safe isn't really necessary.

I thought the response was funny...but I dig the locker.  That’s a great use of storage space actually.

I realize the humor in my post, but I was genuinely asking. I’ve been looking for a cheaper way to lock up some of my gear so the kids won’t have access and I don’t want to spend a bunch on a fancy locker system or take up room in my safe or ammo storage cabinet.

Its some cheapo thing off Amazon. Not terribly well constructed but it works and was like 260 shipped. The ammo rack on the side came from lowes (home depot? I dont remember) for like $15.

Its the 4 door model from all space

My “Armory” is more of a gun closet than a gun room, but I love it anyway.  It’s the 60 sq ft of my house that is 100% my domain.Attachment Attached File

Still a work in progress, need to trim out window and door, put up Omniwall, move safe in, grab a new tool box, permanent shelving, sweep and mop.  This is a 11.5x16 space in my 40'x40' shop

They are Hold Up hangers but the panels are aluminum tracked retail slatwall. I like them a lot.
A little more money than other ones made in China but worth it to me to support an American company.

Advance Displays is a local company here in Salt Lake City. They have a few different styles you can choose from and were about half the price of full aluminum slatwall.

Thanks for that.
Their prices aren't bad, but shipping is 250% more!  lol
Guess I'm still looking for local.
