Are you as a sig MPX owner afraid of sig dropping the rifle completely and unexpected, what will you do when sig eventually discontinues it, as that seems to be their method of operation with long guns.

I really want to try one, but am afraid of this happening, unlike the mp5 pattern where i have plenty of places to get parts for it, Sig is the only source for MPX parts.

Never thought about it.  Firing pin is the most likely to break, followed by an extractor.  Maybe I will call Sig and try to order same.  I am up to 2,134 rounds fired thru mine.

They don't have to drop support for them to screw owners.
It took 3 months to get a firing pin for my MPX and a screw for my MCX

This!  I'm not "afraid" of SIG screwing owners over, I'm completely convinced that it will continue to happen.

Have you noticed the caliber conversions? Parts availability?
