Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is the MPX safety identical to AR-15 ?

Picked up my gen 2 MPX this week and I love it.

Stuck an Aimpoint T-1 on it and ran 300+ rounds through it with zero issues.

Another range session or two and I'll be swapping out the factory trigger for a SSA-E.

I don't care for ambidextrous safeties in any of my ARs (bothers my trigger finger) so I'd like to swap it.

Has anyone else had this issue or changed the safety out on the MPX..??

I am running a SSE trigger and AR safety.  3 gun titanium safety.

I put a standard AR safety in mine. No issues.
