Looking like mine won't sell for a decent price as NIB so I might just proceed with my original SBR plans even though I was counting on SBR and caliber conversion kits from Sig which will never materialize.

I just found out again there is a suppressor setting on the xi, how does it work on a 10.5"  Anyone need to adjust gas ports with the 10.5 barrel?   Can you still remove the gas valve and piston if there is a QD device on the muzzle?

Any word on this, Quake?

I know it probably won't help but I got the 556XI pistol in 10"  7.62X39. It works great!!!  It should work great as an SBR. I talked with SIg CS a few weeks ago about barrels for my MCX and ask and they do have barrels and conversions for the XI.

its gone, the Orlando shooting had 3 different people vying for it...   I sold it for about what I had in it.
