Figured we should start a stock delivery thread along the lines of form 1 approval tracking threads. This should give us an idea of when we might expect them to show up. This could also serve as a support group
 . Please keep it civil and no bitchin.

When someone questioned Sig CS about it they were told that when the order came in they took 50% and filled back orders and the took the other 50% they put on the website. But when they were questioned later about why MCX rifles were being shipped with telescoping stocks before back orders were being filled, they said that 50% of new stock shipments were going to new rifles and 50% were going to backorders. But they did show up on the website for a few hours as I saw them on there. I contemplating buying one but decided not to. |

I ordered my side folder teloscoping stock in early summer. Rep said it would not be the exact side folder as seen on there site. It would teloscope somewhat and side fold. I was like COOL > I got the email 2 days ago it has shipped. Yea me ....

SIG has lost me as a customer. I'm the kind of guy they want. I'm good for at least 8 to 10 guns a year and like to buy the new cool stuff.
I was talking to the SIG folks about a suppressor for the MPX, that's not going to happen. I probably would have ponied up for an one of their rifles too, again not going to happen. You can't alienate large portions of your customer base like this and not take a hit on the bottom line. |

My LGS has 8 SIG MPX Carbines for sale with the longer barrel AND sliding stock on it. SIG had no trouble getting stocks for their own use it appears.
Looks the perceived stock shortage is to maximize profit on complete units rather to service existing customers. |
