I've been out of the game for a little, so I'm looking for some advise here. A couple years back MM sold off a bunch of PD trade-in 551-2SP that had a little extension added to get them to 16" minimum.

What should I expect the price range for once of these to be currently? I'm looking to move some guns around and maybe pick up some new stuff.

3700-5000 seems to be the current pricing range.

Geez, they were about that a year and a half ago. I figured they'd be much higher...

I got mine for $6500 in trade value, it was in exceptional condition.

The last few I saw for sale were around 4500 but that was last year. There was a pretty limited number of these brought in as LE guns but the good thing is they were all 90s imports for LE so they are newer than even the pre ban 80s 550s. Most I've seen have some finish wear but have been shot very little.

$4500 to $5500 depending on condition.

I doubt you'll see one under 5k for sale. All the people that picked them up were collectors and will probably hold onto them for a long time. If you see one for 4k or less I'd jump on it. Sad thing is these completely devalued the west coast armory 551s made with swiss parts on usa receivers. I saw soem of those selling for 5k easy.
