I have wanted to buy one since I first saw a picture many moons ago but the issues reported after the release have kept me away.

Is it safe to play now and is there a certain production date to look for?

Im not sure, but I wouldnt want to be the guinea pig out of the funds if it wasnt G2G

I got one a month ago and haven't had any issues.

It seems they took care of things last fall/winter.
