Is the K model not "select fire"  and thus LE only?

And it functions well?? I always wondered how easy it would be to chop it and keep it reliable. It might change my timeframe if cutting is all you need.

Someone needs to post pics of this thing RIGHT MEOW!!!

Took it down to 4.5" just like the -K spec. I guess maybe 3.5" without busting out a tape measure.

Per LDD over on Sigforum, the MPX-K is supposed to be released 2015Q4 with the gen2 upper.

I presume he's referring to the receiver wear caused by releasing the charging handle and it coming into contact with the lower. It could potentially be fixed with a raised area on the buffer spring retention piece.

Yes that is what I was talking about. The slop in the charging handle is causing some very serious wear and damage to the lower and upper receiver. There are numerous posts already on it.

All it should take is the addition of a shelf that sits in the changing handle channel off of the buffer spring/rod retention piece(Not sure what the technical term Sig uses for it). That would prevent the handle from sagging and shouldn't interfere with taking apart the gun. It would also be simple to retrofit to existing Gen 1s.
