If that's the Gear Sector Scout Offset Mount Mod 3, is it really mounting like a Picattiny???

Any suggestions for a tight offset mount on the Gen. 1 rail?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like the Haley Strategic mounts a scout a bit tighter using the picattiny rail. You'll have to go keymod rail if you want things very tight. Unless you can find a direct screw mount

all I want for christmas is my sig pdw stock (I ordered in june), my sig pdw stock (I ordered in june), da da dada da da daaaa

edit: update on stocks, just called, they are not in, date has been pushed again so keep waiting! I have a record of 18 months from ordering a suppressor, being assigned a serial number then filing a form 4 right before a government shutdown period and during an american gun buying craze, so we will see if these stocks can beat that!

Unbelievable - I get my adapter and it's out of spec (too tight to fit on any rail).

That's it, I'm cursed...

To all those waiting on telescoping stocks for months on end - I placed an order for one on 12/23, card charged on 12/28, called to confirm, and it has been shipped. They apparently switched part numbers. There is some concern that these are slightly shorter for the MCX or something, but when I placed my order they did not distinguish. At any rate, I know at least a few people have called and switched their part numbers on outstanding backorders.

Yes I would like to know this too if you guys can measure it fully extended and see if the lengths are the same.

Yeah, I'd be happier with someone measuring theirs. I called this morning and was told it was the same length of max pull. HOWEVER in the same conversation I was told that the MPX Carbine and GEN2 MPX have shorter recesses in the upper and that the new shorter collapsible is the one installed on them, which is why the gap isn't present on them. From the pictures that I have seen, GEN1 and GEN2 collapsible channels look the same, shorter ones don't seem to be the case. So...measurements...bueller...bueller

This is the SBR that gives me the functionality and look that I had desired from the MPX, since its inception. Although I do own the "crown jewel" telescoping stock, I think the "Kate Moss" folder suits the 4.5in (k) style variant better. Amazingly, it is very comfortable and ergonomic to shoulder extended or hand-hold as pictured. My support hand fits nicely to hold the magwell/magazine like a vetrical grip, and my thumb can naturally rest on the light pad switch.

Standard 8" Gen1 pistol
barrel and handguard were cut to replicate the 4.5" (k) model, refinished and threaded, all by ZR Tactical
20rd Gen1 magazine
Viridian X5L-RS Light/Green Laser combo
STOCK-X-FOLD-THIN-BLK

No more bickering or holding my breath waiting for SIG to release inventory anymore for me. Now, I will follow this battle from the sidelines.

I don't use it too much. Usually just a one point sling but occasionally I'll use it. It's small and out of the way. Works good and seems secure enough. I wouldn't hang from it like Bruce in Die Hard but it's sturdy
