Dully,
I have an MPX-P Sig 9mm w/ 8" barrel.  I'm looking for the so called Kate Moss folding stock. The one you have on photos of the MCX and MPX (skeletonized). Question: Does that skeletonized folding stock lay flat on the MPX receiver or is it laying on the handguard?  I know it lays flat on the MCX but need to know if it's laying flat (not on an angle) on the MPX.  Please post photo of it laying flat on MPX. Thanks

It does lie flat. They were available on Sig's website a bit ago. They're out of stock now though.

If you were to pick a bag out of all your bags for the MPX with Telescoping stock which bag would it be.  I am looking for one but hearing mixed reviews on the Sig Deployment bag.

I would go Tactical Tailor Trekker SBR bag. The reason is that it has a little bit more room and it will fit the MPX with 30 round mag in it comfortably. Plus if you wanted to put a different platform in it, it's more likely to fit in this one rather then the others. I swap between all of them but the Trekker is the one that I can put everything in with some breathing room.

Only thing I shoot out of it is 147gr. Mine is cut to 4" but I don't shoot it without a can either

Dsully,
Would you mind measuring the length from the chamber to the end of the suppressor? I'm wondering total length of barrel plus suppressor. Also how much shorter of an OAL does your one with the cut barrel and 9s have?

Thanks! And awesome pictures as always.

I'll have to check when I get home. Both barrels are cut to 4" now so I can measure but I am supposed to get the AAC three lug mounts soon. You might want me to measure it then though

That works. I'm looking at the Innovative Arms integral MPX upper that comes to 12" roughly OAL barrel and suppressor. Trying to see how it compares to standard or 4.5" barrel plus k length 9mm can as far as OAL.

With the 9s and the 3 lug from hkparts it's 8.5" from the upper to end of suppressor. Take 1.5" if the AAC 3 lug is used. Roughly

Ok DSULLY because of you I pulled the plug on one.  Since I work in a rural area and buy my own gear it gave me an excuse.  I have a few questions though.  Until my forms come back, have you tried the Ferfrans muzzle device on this?  What mag carrier do you use with pg or chest rig? Lastly, mine shows a production date of 8/30/15.  Does Sig have a date range or SN range for the charging handle issue?  I just received my MRO and ADM mount and my other goodies to hopefully run it a lil until I can find a mag carrier to add.  Any suggestions on things that didn't work?

I haven't used that muzzle device and I'm not sure about SN and charging handle issues. I have very early models and the only charging handle issue I've seen are cosmetic. I use High Speed Gears extended pistol mag tacos for mag carriers. I use them on a leg panel and a chest rig. Sig has some individual mag carriers that I use sometimes as well when I just want to be as minimal as possible. They work pretty good. Congrats on your purchase. I know you'll be happy with it

You are using the fixed barrel spacer correct? Because if you have the spring in that piston it could lead to some damage.

I am a seasoned vet for AAC products. I am using the redneck spacer I made myself.

P.S. - I need that 20 round mag so my rig will fit loaded in the rear cavity trunk area of my jeep.

Ha right on, just throwing it out there. What model Jeep? It's a very handy rig for a Wrangler too.

Yeah thanks for the heads up. I have 2 - 2015 jeep wrangler unlimiteds. One is a sahara, one is a sport (white one partialy in the photo). I bought the sahara for my wife and liked it so much I bought myself the sport because I dont need all the fancy options. She is way ahead of me on lift, wheels, bumpers, etc. Its the perfect vehicle for me now since I am getting more involved in 3 gun tournaments. Some of the places we go to actualy require some 4x4 to get in or out. In the past I have driven F150's but I cant pallet the 50K + price tags anymore for something I am going to abuse everyday. Ill save that coin for my hotrod.

What optic are you looking into for it?

Dsully - that looks like a Tirant S 9, if so how do you like that supressor on the MPX?  I am trying to figure out what supressor to get to use on my MPX and that was recommended by a friend but he only uses on his on pistols.

Nice set up you have - have my stamp - like everyone else waiting on my stock to see what height I need when getting my optic.

Thanks

that is the 9s with 3 lug adapter. My barrel is cut to 4". I like it a lot but it's not very quiet. It just takes that edge off when firing without hearing pro. That's all I need it for so it's perfect to keep this thing nice and short.

I am thinking an eotech. I like the large lens. I do own an aimpoint t1 that I use with a 556 carbine that I may swap over But if I can find a good deal this season on anything under or around $500 that has a significant battery life I'm in.

I went with a eotech just b cause it's what I'm used to. I really like it on the MPX but I'm considering trying a Trijicon MRO.

I'm going with a Trijicon RMR dual Illuminated model with the 12 MOA Triangle. It will be on the lowest ADM mount available. I'm thinking I may take off the factory iron sights as well and just run it slick like that.

Dsully you have all the cool stuff. Can the keymod rails be ordered yet?  I want a K version. Can they be easily cut down and look like they weren't  cut down in the event no K versions are available?

They will be available soon. I believe all the new MPXs will come standard with the keymod but don't quote me on that. Unfortunately, because of the slanted slots at the top of handguard, it will make the cut difficult to make it unnoticeable. With a little creativity, I bet it could be done though. Just not a straight cut
