Quoted: Like the title says.... I am contemplating selling my 551A1. I've put less than 100rnds down range and really like the rifle but I have a 556P with a SANS lower that is way more fun. So what does the group think? I would sell it to fund another firearm. I really like my Sig 556P-turned-SBR as well, and I just don't see the point in keeping it if you have something you already like better. Rifles are just possessions.

The cabelas by me is selling one for 1700 so I'd say around 1500.

Its in the EE for $1500. I saw a couple at Cabala's for near $2K...crazy.

I just bought one for $1100 nib but without mags, from Colorado.
You can get them NIB for 14-1500 |

I'm aggressively looking for one - but at a killer price (<1200). I have a sig 556 classic with both lowers (m4 style and Swiss style ) the Swiss lower doesn't match the upper but for all intents and purposes it's no different than a 551a1
