Damn Skippy

I fired 200 rounds of Tula this past weekend without any problems at all. I fired WWB and got 2" MOA at 120 yards.

It's like Mikey It eats anything and everything. It's become ny favorite 556

How good is it. I poped a steel 40rnd AK mag in it yesterday and it was solid and no woble. Fired the entire mag without a problem.

Anyone know if the lowers are interchangeable between the 556 and the 556R? Wondering if I could run CPD 7.62x39 AR mags in this with the STANAG lower.

Alternatively does a 5.56 AK mag lock into a 556R lower; basically allowing one to use cheaper AK mags in a 556 instead of using the 551A1 lower/$50 SAN mags?

It looks like the same commercial Bulgarian slab side polymer AK mag that came with PTR32s. Those types of mags are available over at CDNN and other places.

I've seen on the Sig website where they're making factory SBR's now.

Any word on if they will have an R version?

If not, it shouldn't be that big a deal to cut the barrel and keep it running 100% should it?

Anyone tried their rifle with a variety of mags? Any fitment issues with Bulgarian waffles?
