It is all metal and is virtually identical except for the mounting. I used the pig nose adapter that the ACE side folding adapter uses in order to bolt it on. but it worked well enough. I was thinking strongly about the YHM side folder, but did not want to drop the INSANE amount of money they want for it only to find I did not like it. So I got the $40 knockoff to try it out. Meh. It is ok, but nothing special, and certainly not worth the $340 YHM wants for it. I have since changed to the regular stock as seen in the pictures above on this page, and actually I think I will put the CTR back on..although not with the side folding adapter. I don't really care for side folders. 99% of the reason I got it was to shut up the people bitching about no side folder on the Sig 556.
