Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - An SBS from a "firearm"

I am a dealer for both Black Aces Tactical and Fostech. Both companies offer short non-NFA 12 ga. both are logged into A&D as a "firearm" The folks a Black Aces said that it could be done as an SBS with paperwork, wait time etc. Fostech said the Origin SBV also a "firearm" could not an be SBS or AOW etc. ever because of it original definition. Now I would love like hell to hang a stock on the SBV...but I can't seem to find the answer.

I don't know of anything preventing them from becoming Title II firearms. Ask Fostech why specifically they believe you can't do it.
Or just do it.
