I have a few questions for SOT's in Illinois.

With an 01 FFL and SOT are you able to posess all items except for suppressors and DD?

With a range, are you able to rent those out?

No suppressors, but you can possess a DD if you get it from a DD dealer and pay the tax (these are legal in Il).

With respect to the range most will sell the ammo at an inflated price and you "use" the gun for free if it is a post sample. Remember posties are only for demo to police depts.

Most ranges around here that rent full auto only rent the magazines that are already loaded. The gun is free to use as long as you only use the magazine you rented and not refill it.

For an SOT to have suppressors they need to be an 07 ffl then?

Yes and as I understand it you must be an 07 to possess SBR's as well. My 01 is up Jan 1 and I am going to switch to an 07 I think?
