Just curious as I would like something other that the hole plugs that came with mine.

I wish. But there isn't enough material on the ends of the housing for any type of scope/lens covers. The A3 SF that Austrian spec ops and one other country uses has enough material for covers.

ehh, I see what you're saying but there's at least ONE way around that:

The company Scopecoat used to make these neoprene covers for the MSAR:



They were really nice and protected the factory optic against bumps and scratches. I've heard that they don't fit the railed A3M1 optics, though, but it's about time someone made them for the A3M1, too!


Seriously. Someone make them again.  PLEASE.

Yes - I bought one of the scopecoat covers and can confirm that it doesn't fit the railed scopes on the A3M1.

I thought I might make a million bucks with this, but that's probably not likely.  Maybe if a company goes with the design, they'll throw me a bone out of courtesy.

Rubber stopper from hardware store.
Bouncy ball from China resturant lobby coin machine.
Section of bungee cord, tied with double fisherman's bend.
