Does the tulip flash hider have 4 slots or 5?

I've been reading in the AR forum (comments from coldblue, who was behind the A2 changes to the M16) that the A2 flash hider was designed to be timed to the 10:30/1:30 positions for left/right handed shooters.  This allows the flash hider to direct the gases so that the barrel is pushed into the support arm instead of straight down.  I guess the idea is similar to the slant brake on an AK.  When I finally get around to getting my next AUG, I'd like to time the flash hider like this if possible

Without looking, there's a slot top dead center and a large unslotted are underneath. I'm betting my lunch that there are 5 slots.

Circle gets the square!  My 16 inch barrel ( brand new ) is sitting right next to me....5 slots with the bottom closed off like an M16A2.
