They really designed that nice to change calibers.

I can see getting one of those. I don't see how their design changes calibers any better than an MSAR could. All their quick change talk is no different than any past iteration of the AUG design. Will be a buyer too. |

Yeah it;s as quick change as an AR  And changing uppers to different barrel lengths is no quicker, if not slow than an AUG. And you;d have to buy a new "gun".

I still want one Eh? Considering the barrel and receiver are effectively one unit, it should be slightly faster at caliber 'conversions' than the AUG going from 5.56 -> 9mm or back, which I can do in a minute or two fairly easily. The price of such a 'conversion,' however - won't be cheap. I'm in for one once they come out, though. |

There is some debate as to whether what we traditionally call the stock on the AUG or the polymer "receiver" would be the serialized part. This is part of why Lithgow was waiting so long on ATF approval, which is also why we havent actually seen them in country for sale yet.

They would be smart to find a way to serialize the lower magwell/trigger group like an ar15.
