Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Why a black trigger on all US AUG A3/M1 rifles?

So was wondering why only a black trigger on US Steyr AUG rifles starting with the A3 going forward?
Is this just a cost/parts issue?

Certainly easier to only have one color part. However, would like to get an OD trigger for my OD stock.

IIRC the green one does something better. Allows a better, more giving pull or something like that.

The US made trigger is black.
