So how difficult is it to change out the scope for a rail and vice versa?

What are the steps to do this?

You need a long 4mm hex socket or 4mm hex T handle. There are 3 bolts held on with a bit of thread locker. Lefty loosy, righty tighty...

Takes a couple minutes, very easy to do. I use a bit of blue loctite on the reinstall after cleaning the threads with a wire brush.

The small hole at the front on the rails and scope, what is that for?
On the left in the above pic.

A hole for a roll pin. It's extraneous, disregard it.

Do they roll pin the .gov versions in Police and Military applications?

Hate to ask, but is there a known torque spec or just get the screws snug and not worry?

Good question.
Also like to know if there is a torque spec.

And how difficult to break the factory threadlocker?

Not difficult.

I'll check later, but don't ever recall seeing a spec for it.
