Some people have modified an allen wrench to work as a barrel wrench.

You can purchase the barrel wrench directly from IWI or the Bullpup Armory.  The Bullpup Armory sell the TavTool which is really a neat idea for Tavor owners.  The Bullpup Armory is currently out of stock on the TavTool but the have the IWI barrel wrench in stock.

I've never owned a brown firearm before,  and if i hadn't wanted this one that would probably still be the case.

I wouldn't be taking it apart except to change colors. The gas system upgrade, frankly iwi should have done this to all of them.
