Has anybody tried cutting down a Tavor's barrel to 14.5" and perm-attaching a suppressor mount? My big question is if there were any functions issues with the suppressor attached.

Personally it's not something I'd do to such an expensive barrel for an inch or so overall.

If anything maybe you could look into getting the new muzzle device cut down.

The correct length is actually 15" (381mm) for the Tavor.
I've heard of some doing the cut, recrown, and rethread.
I always thought that IWI should do limited runs of the 15" barrel with a permanently attached flash hider. Maybe a Vortex or something common. At a reasonable price, I would be in for one.

Iam not sure as I just did the barrel work but my friend said it worked great.

I have seen a few and they are amazing... Really bring the rifle down to what it should be... Hopefully some will share pics...
