I have just confirmed we will have a full auto Tavor and a full auto Tavor X95 (i.e. "micro tavor") at Bullpup Shoot 2015!

I'll probably have to attend this year. Surprised that Midwest Industries isn't coming down.

Looks like we are going to have A LOT of Vendors this year, we have a couple more interested in showing up!
I will post up a complete list when we have them all confirmed. Sven Manticore Arms ...and just as a reminder, this event is FREE, totally underwritten by us so that you don't have to pay a dime to check all the cool stuff out! |

We also will have a special guest- Austrian Jadgkommando will be joining us to discuss AUG techniques and his experiences! Sven Manticore Arms View Quote Any chance of videoing his presentation for those of us who can't attend. I would fly up there just for this, if I wasn't already booked that weekend. That's one challenge of the AUG in the U.S. Not a lot of been there/done that experience like with the AR. |

I will see what we can do- he actually didn't want it announced publicly he was attending (he is a bit shy about publicity) but I will check to see if he will let us film some or all of it. Maybe we can cover his face in one of those fabric skull facewraps, and have him be "Bullpup Stig" |

You know what sucks about the bullpup shoot? Is I am married and have kids and live in Wyoming and can't go... So dumb... Bullets .. Pups...cans...what more can a man want... Maybe some bullpup ladies, but next pics you guys will post will be those too...so yep ...I am super jealous.... But my girls and son have augs and Tavors already so in about ten years when they are over ten we will be there... The shoot looks amazing! if I host a bullpup shoot on a ranch by Yellowstone can we make it happen. We can set up teepees and everything
|
|
Sorry double posted...to many beers for a Thursday..but while I am here we want pics of the x95 and desert tech ...just saying we as in the state of Wyoming

Just so you all know:
CCW is OK at Bullpup Shoot. Longarms can be slung, muzzle down, unloaded, with a chamber flag in the action and carried around. We have done it in the past and it has worked out fine. We want shooters to feel welcome and these rules have worked well in the past for safety so we will continue this way. |

Sven, it was great seeing you again! Shooting the Tavor and X95 at the meet has helped me decide to jump onto the Tavor bandwagon - now it's a matter of what to get first, an IDF or a regular 16. (I know the correct answer is "both".)

To anyone who shot the X95, how does it feel compared to the Tavor? How's the recoil impulse? Is it lighter? Any pics or videos posted anywhere? And how exactly does a posi trac rear end in a Plymouth work?

We just got unpacked form the event and I will get pics up in the next day or so. I think there is video of me shooting the X95 full auto, if I can find it I will post it up. Sven Manticore Arms |

More info on the glock mag bullpup please. View Quote Here is what the guy from Jard told me: One that is shown is tool room prototype M1A/Garand style safety Takes glock mags Should launch by the end of the year, MSRP $899 What I saw: It had dual charging handles It was heavy, but that may be due to being a tool room prototype and not a final production design. |
|
Yep need pics of the folding charge handles.... Been waiting for this addition... The 300 blackout is pretty cool also... And thanks for the above pics looks like it was a great day...

I don't think the charging handles are folding, from what he showed me. He did say they are non-nonreciprocating, and they're only about a finger-width wide, so they're not obtrusive.

Any word on who won the Steyr Raffle? It was great getting to talk to the reps and get the low-down on new production. I bought a bunch of magazines when I got home because they're dirt cheap right now.
The wife really wants a LH AUG |
