[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Tavor side rail replacement

Has anyone come up with a fix for the craptastic stock side rail?
Put a light on mine and the first time it went into my range bag the whole thing got knocked loose.
Some kind of an adapter that lets you use Magpul MOE or M-LOK rails would be nice.
I can only find a KeyMod replacement.

Had a similar issue with mine. I e-mailed IWI and they sent me a replacement rail which is noticeably beefier in the locking tabs that go
into the receiver. The two screws are also thicker. Installed it yesterday, we'll see how well it holds up.

Took mine off and tossed it in a bag.

Think it looks better without it.

Not sure what rail you are talking about. Only rail is the top rail, which is factory.

I was referring to the M-Lock forearm, but I can see now its not from MI

If people want we can knock out some aluminum picatinny side rails- seems like no one is happy with the polymer ones.

Just let me know if there is interest and I can get to work on them, shouldn't take too long to design.
